env23 is working with the national #pledge4plastics initiative to deliver an engagement campaign on Britain’s best beach, Bournemouth.
The home-from-home campaign is reaching directly to locals, day-trippers and holiday makers visiting the world class resort during the world famous Air Festival weekend, and the busy season crescendo over the August bank holiday weekend. On the first day, the engagement team talked to thousands of beach-goers watching the fantastic air show, including a brilliant display by the Red Arrows.
Visitors are being asked to make a pledge to recycle on-the-go – there are recycling bins along the miles of sandy beach framing Bournemouth Bay – and stay in touch to win prizes and help #pledge4plastics set a world record at the Bournemouth Arts Festival in October.
